Water Sports on Loch Lomond

Saling from the jetty

One of the few, if not the last, large expanses of ‘free’ water in the UK for water skiing, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing and boating Loch Lomond offers plenty of opportunity. Except on the worst days for weather, you can usually find areas sheltered from the wind for water skiing. The site at Rowardennan provides private access to the water for launching.

There is a long sandy beach which faces west and it gently slopes into the water.
