Short Breaks and Weekend Breaks by Loch Lomond

Take yourself off for a wee short break in Scotland at this log cabin in the Scottish Highlands any time of the year to Loch Lomond - at just 90 mins from Edinburgh and Perth for example, you can arrive in time for a gin & tonic and a beer before supper. Glasgow is just under an hour and the excellent motorway links from the north east of England make this an attractive short break option.

Bracing walks on crisp winter days are just as refreshing as an alternative to long summer days in the hills and mountains. Mountain biking - canoeing - hill walking - golf - fishing on Loch Lomond - or just peace and quiet is all you need for a re-energising weekend or short break at Loch Lomond.

Many visitors to the lodges have even managed the three hour trek up Ben Lomond (and the views are well worth it) - but there's plenty of less strenuous walks along the lochside too, without even needing to take the car anywhere.

Consider too, a Christmas or New Year Break at Loch Lomond.
