Sandwood Lodge Loch Lomond: Facilities

Sandwood Lodge is a self catering lodge on Loch Lomond which sleeps 6 and is about 50 meters from the water. This is a 4 star standard lodge graded by VisitScotland, is just 10 years old and has the following to offer:

Central heating throughout, two king size double bedrooms – one with en-suite shower and toilet, one twin bedded room and another spacious shower room and toilet. There is an open plan sitting room with two leather settees and comfortable dining table and 6 chairs. There is a fully fitted kitchen, including a full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils for 6 people.

There is a 42″ digital flat screen TV, Freesat satelite channels and a DVD player.

Outside there is spacious wrap-around decking from which you can see Loch Lomond through the trees, with full size wooden table, 6 chairs and parasol. A washing machine and tumble dryer is available in the shed attached. A bar b que is also provided (bring charcoal).

Internet access * and WiFi. This will be available from mid-end of February 2017.

All bed linen and towels are included as well as gas * and electricity.

This cosy lodge on Loch Lomond also has double glazing, and is available for use throughout the year and for Autumn and Winter breaks.

Entry to the estate is by a remote operated gate, ensuring that only lodge users and owners have access.

The lodge is amazing and has everything we needed for our week away.  We were very lucky with the weather too.  Thank you for the wine and cookies -they didn’t last long!  And thank you for letting us stay, we will be recommending you to our friends and plan to return.

Thank you for a fantastic stay!  Nice ride outs to Loch Katrine and Sir Walter Puffa steam or stopped at the Falls of Dochart. recommend fine ales at Loch Fyne, brewery tour and nice bar.  If you have a boat or jet ski you can refuel up at Ardlui.  Ben lomond circular route really good day left at 7.00 AM and back by 12.30.  No rain all week and apart from at Loch Katrine!  Brilliant week.  Thank you.  September 2014.

Lovely weekend at the lodge.  Weather held out for a walk on Saturday morning.  Enjoyed the fireworks display at Rowardennan hotel.  Lodge is well equipped and very comfortable.  Great location – thank you!  Will hopefully be back. November 2014 Catherine, Andrew, Jay and Susanne Ayrshire.
