One of my fellow lodge owners took these photos on 16 Jan 2016 and sent them to me. In 10 years of having my lodge there I have never seen the site covered in so much snow.

Being close to Loch Lomond which is only 27ft or eight metres above sea level we rarely get snow – well at least it tends not to lie too long.

Loch Lomond is the largest loch in Scotland by surface area and It has an estimated 92,805 million cubic feet (2628 cubic m.) of water.
