Log Cabin Loch Lomond, Scotland

Privately owned, Sandwood Lodge is a one of a number of log cabins Loch Lomond. It is cosy and warm for all year bookings. It sleeps up to 6 and is situated at Rowardennan in Scotland, in a striking setting on a quiet, private estate of log cabins by Loch Lomond. Imagine clear starry nights, walks wrapped up against chilly and crisp bright winter days or long summer trips away exploring Rob Roy country and The Trossachs or the mountains of Argyll and the north – this can be all yours too. So go on… book your self catering lodge on Loch Lomond. More an area than a village, Rowardennan, which is at the foot of Ben Lomond, is on the east shores of Loch Lomond and 6 miles north from the pretty lochside village of Balmaha. The private site on which the log cabins sit is right on the lochside. This is the quieter side of Loch Lomond and an area famous for the West Highland Way taking walkers on beneath Ben Lomond nearby.

Log Cabin Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond is certainly one of the world’s, and Scotland’s, most stunning and internationally renowned locations at the southern end of the Scottish Highlands. The country’s largest fresh water loch is now part of Scotland’s first National Park – an area where for centuries, visitors have traveled to, taken in spectacular scenery, sail, walk and climb – and simply breathe fresh air. Sandwood Lodge (graded 4 star by VisitScotland) provides those who prefer self catering holiday accommodation, or a short break on Loch Lomond access to some wonderful lochside and hill walks from your doorstep. There’s also direct access to the water for water based sports and easy launching for those who prefer to bring their own craft. There is a jetty and shallow beach which is ideal for canoeing from or launching windsurfers and sailing boats. Moorings for speed boats can be hired from the site owners. If you were looking for a cottage by Loch Lomond Scotland why not consider a break in a log cabin in this lovely area.

From Guest Book

“Such a beautiful spacious log cabin to spend in our first family holiday with our two children. And the grandparents.

Beautiful part of the world, with views so amazing and wonderful – absolutely breathtaking! We spent some time down at the water with the kids feeding ducks and with photographs as evidence the children will see how happy they were at this experience in years to come.

Thanks Simon for supplying such a great holiday cabin which was so clean and tidy.

We leave with special memories”
